Do you have a flair for writing? Do you love to understand complex technical modules and bring them on paper in a user-friendly detail? We’re searching for an experienced technical writer to join our team and help take our client-focused services to new heights. As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering. Your ability to evaluate and analyze complex information is second to none, and you have a natural desire to help people understand things that are hard to understand.

Your to-do list

  • Dive deep into the Product along with the internal team and understand the innards and the cogs that are behind the scenes of every module to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
  • Produce high-quality and comprehensive documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, help and developer guides
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
  • Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications.

What skills do you master?

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
  2. 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
  3. Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
  4. Excellent written skills in English
  5. Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
  6. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  7. Experience working with engineering to improve the user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.

You will become part of a small smart team (30-40 people) in 2-3 countries. This means plenty of room for personal initiative and a lot of freedom and trust to accomplish your own ambitions as well as ours. Together with our CTO and other DEV colleagues in a positive organization, you will grow alongside our international ambitions. You will be working closely with our second line support, CEO (product owner) and CTO. We value your contribution and you will be working with the latest techniques.
